We hope you will join the Fare Thee Well Foundation and share in the joy of The Day Celebration music festival.
Our mission is to fuse our pride for regional community with our love of the arts under the beautiful tapestry of Georgia’s rolling Piedmont hills. We give thanks for the richness of our lives and are committed to giving back to our communities by supporting those who are most in need. The Fare Thee Well Foundation is dedicated to promoting a clean environment, battling local hunger and providing medical care for one of the most devastating childhood diseases afflicting our communities. We hope that by creating an environment of appreciation for the arts, surrounded by the beauty of “God’s Country,” we may nourish a growing movement of philanthropy and civic responsibility in all those we touch.
The Fare Thee Well Foundation, Inc. is a Georgia non-profit corporation, with the Federal Tax ID #26-0355008.
The Fare Thee Well Foundation is proud to support the following quality organizations that richly deserve our blessing and support:
Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, Inc.
Brain tumors are the leading cause of solid tumor death in children under the age of 20. The Fare Thee Well Foundation fully supports the efforts of the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children, which is committed to helping families who struggle with this devastating diagnosis and to raising funds for crucial medical research. Since 1983, BTFC has provided millions of dollars for numerous brain tumor research studies and for the purchase of technologically advanced medical equipment for Emory University, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium (a national network of medical institutions specializing in pediatric brain tumor research). Over the years, BTFC has provided nursing scholarships in the study of pediatric oncology as well as funded special positions at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Georgia State University to better serve the pediatric brain tumor population.

Georgia Coalition to End Homelessness, Inc.
Since 1995, GCEH has been dedicated to finding solutions to the issues surrounding homelessness in the State of Georgia. On any given night in Georgia more than 18,000 people have no place to call home and are residing in homeless shelters or other temporary places. Many of these are single parent families with children. National statistics confirm that millions of Americans are at risk of homelessness every day by being just a paycheck or two away from despair. The Fare Thee Well Foundation supports GCEH’s commitment to public education and awareness of homeless issues, their work to ensure appropriate referrals of persons in crisis, and their ongoing development of homeless resources.

Georgia Wildlife Federation
The Fare Thee Well Foundation is concerned about runaway development in Georgia, water and air pollution and the loss of wildlife habitat. So, it’s only natural (smile) that we support the Georgia Wildlife Federation!
Since 1936, GWF has been leading efforts to protect Georgia’s wildlife, land, water and air. GWF is Georgia’s oldest and largest member-supported conservation organization and the state affiliate of the National Wildlife Federation. Through advocacy and education, they encourage the intelligent management of Georgia’s natural resources. GWF is the statewide conservation organization that gets results! Most notably, GWF is fighting for National Forest protection, leading the battle to protect Georgia’s water as a public resource and a leader in environmental education. With our donations to GWF, the Fare Thee Well Foundation takes pride in safeguarding Georgia’s natural heritage for present and future generations.

Humane Society of Morgan County, Inc.
The Fare Thee Well Foundation is also concerned about the ethical treatment of our four-legged friends. Therefore, it’s natural that we throw our support behind the Human Society of Morgan County. The HSMC’s mission is to prevent cruelty and relieve the suffering of animals and to instead promote humane treatment. The HSMC’s volunteers provide public education and support legislation dedicated to the welfare of companion animals. All animals that come into their care are provided loving medical care and housed in foster homes until they can be matched with a carefully screened, permanent home. In addition to rescue and adoption, the HSMC provides: financial assistance for spaying/neutering, a reduced-cost vaccination clinic as well as educational materials for the community.

Southern forests contain some of the most biologically rich ecosystems in North America, but it is also the largest wood producing region in the world, accounting for approximately 60% of the wood and paper products produced in the US. The Fare Thee Well Foundation believes in sustainable forestry practices in conjunction with the preservation of mature southern forests to ensure rich bio-diversity and available outdoor recreation. One coalition that has been able to effectively influence public awareness and corporate accountability in this area is the Dogwood Alliance - and we fully support their efforts. The Dogwood Alliance is a non-profit organization made up of individuals and grass-roots organizations that are committed to protecting the endangered forests of the South for present and future generations.
